How Many People can Fit in a Helicopter.
This is a greta question. Unfortunately the answer is not as easy as you think. With the Melbourne Helicopter Group we can offer you a range of helicopters. From the mid size 4 seat Bell 206 Jet Ranger, or Airbus EC-120 to the larger 6 seater Bell 206 Long Ranger. Each helicopter has a Maximum Take Off Weight (MTOW) which includes, helicopter weight, fuel, passenger and pilot weight.

Are there any Restrictions with Helicopters
Yes, there are restrictions. as there is with any form of transport. Have a think about a garden wedding, or an outdoor wedding at a winery. When considering such a venue have a look for a reasonably flat area of approximately 40m square for one helicopter. If you have a larger group that requires multiple helicopters this area will expand. Additionally have a look for large trees, powerlines, tall buildings or loose furniture. Don’t worry if you aren’t sure as we will undertake a risk assessment well before your big day.
